Persia Lustre Tiles Silk Scarf
Persia Lustre Tiles Silk Scarf
CONCEPT:
“Lustre Tiles,” date back to 1100-1400 AD. These tiles are found in museums worldwide and feature a fascinating blend of Islamic, Buddhist, and Hindu influences, along with Chinese and Mongol artistic elements.
The rich interconnectedness of faiths and cultures reflected in these tiles has always inspired me. Drawing from these designs, I’ve hand-drawn and illustrated them to create a scarf that combines ancient inspiration with modern touches and fabrication.
