CONCEPT:

Hinduism is the ONLY religion in the world that sees/celebrates the absolute reality/divine as the “feminine divine” mother as well as father.

Durga (victory) is “Shakti” the primordial cosmic energy that is the entire universe. She emerged from the combined light of ALL male deities. The “life force” of all creation. Male deities can’t function without their “Shaktis”

“Um” means “mother” in Arabic drawn in the shape of Mother Durga’s trident which is used to
destroy evil and protect righteousness. “Trishul" (trident) is the symbol of three qualities –
Satva (salvation), Rajas (peace), and Tamas (serenity). All qualities women have!

The colors are associated with the 3 Goddesses :

Red for Durga, Pink Lotus for Lakshmi, White for Saraswati.

Islam states a “mother” is her child’s first teacher, just like Hinduism “Mata (mother), Pitta (Father), Guru (teacher), Devam (God).

Hinduism and Islam give EQUAL rights to Women! Unfortunately, many societies/cultures are plagued by patriarchal mindsets (which need to change!)

Women must be honored, respected, and cherished!
